Degodny Joins Golub

DEGODNY JOINS GOLUB & COMPANY AS SENIOR LEASING DIRECTOR


CHICAGO, IL (November 14, 2005) – Chicago-based Golub & Company, an international real estate investment and development firm, has hired Steven Degodny, 36, as senior leasing director, said Lee Golub, executive vice president. Degodny will be responsible for leasing Golub & Company’s suburban Chicago office building portfolio, including the 550,000-square-foot Meadows Corporate Center at 2550 and 2850 Golf Road in Rolling Meadows and the 309,000-square-foot 1603 Orrington in Evanston.
Degodny previously was director of leasing for Prentiss Properties with responsibility for leasing a nearly 900,000-square-foot portfolio of properties located in the O’Hare and north suburban submarkets. He has been active in commercial real estate in Chicago since 1992.

“Steve’s great experience and successful track record make him an excellent match for our suburban properties,” said John Ferguson, senior vice president of leasing and marketing.

Degodny received a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. A licensed real estate salesperson, he is active in several industry organizations, including the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and the Chicago Real Estate Organization (CREO).
