Golub Promotes Armstrong to Senior VP

GOLUB & COMPANY PROMOTES ARMSTRONG TO SENIOR VP


CHICAGO, IL (November 30, 2005) – Chicago-based Golub & Company, an international real estate investment and development firm, has promoted Bruce Armstrong, 47, to senior vice president of development, said Michael Newman, president and chief executive officer. Armstrong was previously director of development services.

Since joining the company in 1996, Armstrong has been responsible for all design and ground-up construction for new multifamily and office properties and capital improvement programs for existing buildings owned by Golub & Company. Currently he is overseeing The Streeter, a 48-story, 481-unit, luxury apartment tower in downtown Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood, and Scottsdale Waterfront, a major mixed-use development in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. Armstrong is also representing the company’s interests in the Elysian Hotel and Residences, a 60-story, ultra-luxury hotel and condominium building on Chicago’s Gold Coast.

“Bruce is a key member of our management team,” said Lee Golub, executive vice president. “As an architect, he is instrumental to the success of all our design and construction programs.”

Armstrong holds a Master of Architecture and a B.S. in architectural studies from the University of Illinois, is a licensed architect in Illinois, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
